CAPE CORAL, Fla.- Creating a sense of destination in Cape Coral!
City leaders want to give downtown a boost and they plan to do that by re-developing Bimini Basin. The city council passed an ordinance which now allows them to begin the process.
With the new ordinance, the council can now convene meetings and hold public discussions looking at how to rezone the area, taking into account traffic and density.
A number of people expressed their concerns about how the Bimini Basin could change, but the council wanted to reassure everyone that rezoning the area will work closely with the community and its standards before any developer would be granted access to build.
