CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla.-- A man dodged bullets in an attempted robbery disguised as a car sale Friday afternoon, the Charlotte County Sheriff's Office said.
The man said he discussed the car with the suspect before agreeing to meet on the 27000 block of South Twin Lakes Drive before 12:30 p.m. When he arrived, the suspect demanded money, then began shooting as many as three rounds, deputies said.
The suspect is described being a black male, 6'0" tall approximately 175 lbs and appeared to be approximately 20-30 years of age. A blue in color sedan with tinted windows is being sought in connection with this event.
No items were stolen and no injuries were reported, deputies said.
A detailed description of the suspect or the vehicle has not been released.
