A Lee County Sheriff's Deputy was fired for conduct during a traffic stop.

Deputy Raymond Gallagher was fired for Excessive Force, Untruthfulness in Proceedings or Reports, and Conduct Unbecoming of an Officer.

Someone saw Gallagher perform the traffic stop and pull over the female victim.  The witness says Gallagher yelled at the woman and pulled out his gun.

After an investigation, he was fired.

Sheriff Mike Scott says, "Mr. Gallagher fell far short of our expectations, training, and policy, and we dealt with him swiftly and surely. I will not tolerate behavior like that.”
