A Fort Lauderdale native was among the five people killed in the Capital Gazette newspaper shooting.
According to the Baltimore Sun, Rob Hiaasen joined the newspaper in 2010.
His wife is a teacher in the Baltimore area.
Rob Hiaasen graduated from the University of Florida and worked at The Palm Beach Post.
