Dozens were evacuated from their homes because of the wildfire.
Lloyd Holst says he had just minutes to get his to his home in the Naples Club RV Park.
He says, "The smoke plume started to come over us, and then we started hearing helicopters with buckets going over, they were relentless."
He left his home with just the clothes on his back and his dogs.
Lloyd didn't have have time to find his catch.
He says, "He's my best buddy, and I'm just very worried about him."
Firefighters are working close to his home to control the fire.
Chris Loney lives a few miles from the flames. Loney says, "I saw some embers go onto the median and it jumped over the center of the highway."
