A Cape Coral cat is back on the ground after falling 70 feet to the ground.
Jeffrey Guilette's cat, Silver, was stuck in the tree for six days.
Jeffrey kept an eye on the cat by using an old telescope he found in the trash.
He tried everything to get Silver down. He brought out the cat's favorite food. He called a tree service and even the Cape Coral Fire Department.
When the firefighters came out the first time, the truck's ladder wasn't tall enough to get Silver. When 4 In Your Corner was there today, firefighters were back out there to help Silver.
Two firefighters tried desperately to get Silver free, but Silver took matters into his own paws. He fell 70 feet, but landed right on his paws.
But Silver took off and Jeff says he's still not home tonight.
