Fizzy, Foamy, and Explosive chemistry shows in Fort Myers

FORT MYERS, Fla. - There will be supercharged science shows this weekend. The IMAG History and Science Center will have a red, white, and blue themed chemistry displays Saturday afternoon.

Science Saturday will feature Fizzy, Foamy, and Explosive Science demos both inside their theater and outside.

The demos will include, but are not limited to Mentos fountains, nitrogen clouds, elephant toothpaste, rockets, and dry ice concoctions.

They'll be hands-on activities and take-away creations including mini vortex canons, stomp rockets, and gliders.

Science Saturday occurs the first Saturday of each month. Interactive activities occur in designated stations throughout the center between 11am and 2pm.

The two red, white, and blue demos will start at 12pm in the indoor theater. The second one takes place outside at 1pm.
