Southwest Florida will be filled with lots of events and activities on the 4th of July weekend.
This will be a long weekend of fun! There will be live concerts, Independence Day celebrations, animal shows, food events, car shows, comedy shows, and even an encounter with Capitan America and Iron Man! These events, will take place all over SWFL in the areas of Cape Coral, Estero, Everglades City, Fort Myers and Naples.
Events in Cape Coral
Come celebrate the red, white and blue, South Cape style! You’ll ride the trolleys around Cape Coral’s Entertainment District, stopping at various locations to enjoy domestic beer and appetizer samples. This annual event is heavily attended and lots of fun!

Historic Everglades City is always first - the first Collier County seat and now the first in the area to celebrate Independence Day, with an opening ceremony and parade at 10 a.m. followed by a festival atmosphere with arts and crafts, vendor booths, and family activities at 11 a.m. The fun continues all day. In the evening, there's a musical fireworks display at 9 p.m.

ReptiDay tours the US to provide a one-day version of the Repticon Reptile and Exotic Animal Convention. The Collier County Sheriff's Office is partnering with Dunkin’ Donuts to offer the community Coffee with a Cop. The event will provide deputies and members of the community with the opportunity to come together to discuss community issues, build relationships and share some coffee. The program aims to advance the practice of community policing by building relationships between police officers and community members one cup of coffee at a time.
