LEHIGH ACRES, Fla. — The west bound lanes of State Road 82 have reopened.

The Lehigh Acres Fire Control District confirms that the fire is 100% contained.
The Lee County Sheriff's Office says the east bound lanes of State Road 82 are back open near Griffin Drive and Gateway Boulevard.
West bound lanes are still shut down.
Another fire in Lehigh Acres was reported by the Florida Forest Service Wednesday evening.
It happened on 30th Street SW, also off of State Road 82.
The service estimates 5 to 8 acres were burned.

The Lehigh Acres Fire Control & Rescue district says a brush fire in the area of State Road 82 and Ray Avenue has closed SR-82 between Griffin Drive and Gateway Boulevard.
Florida Forestry says the fire is approximately 5-8 acres.
