NAPLES, Fla. — Investigators are working to determine what caused a car to plunge into a canal Thursday evening.
Collier County deputies were called to the intersection of 25th Ave. NE and 2nd St. in Naples.
Dive teams were called to assist; one person was found dead inside the vehicle. They were the only occupant.
Florida Highway Patrol is assisting with the investigation.
