CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. — US 41 has reopened after a fatal crash caused it to shut down earlier this morning.
The Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) says a motorcycle was traveling north on US 41 when it collided with another vehicle in the outside lane.
FHP says the motorcyclist was pronounced dead on the scene.
