CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. — A medical helicopter was dispatched to assist in a crash with serious injuries on I-75 in Charlotte County.
The crash happened before noon Wednesday in the northbound lanes near mile marker 175.
Florida Highway Patrol and other emergency crews were called to the scene.
The crash was cleared from the roadway about 12:35 p.m. An investigation is ongoing, with FHP expected to provide an update.
