CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. — A motorcycle hit a pedestrian on Saturday afternoon around 6:41 p.m., according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The crash happened on Tamiami Trail, and the pedestrian was rushed to the hospital where they were later pronounced deceased. The motorcyclist and passenger were also sent to the hospital with injuries, their current condition is unknown.
Florida Highway Patrol is still investigating the incident.
