CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. — A death investigation is underway on Ormond Street in Port Charlotte.
Investigators say neighbors called to report they heard a gunshot around 8:15 a.m. on Wednesday morning.
Deputies say they are investigating a woman's death, but added it did not appear to be suspicious.
