PUNTA GORDA, Fla. — Firefighters say a brush fire in Punta Gorda is believed to have been started by a lightning strike.
According to the Florida Forest Service, the fire burned between three to four acres near Buttonwood Blvd.
Firefighters say no homes were in danger and nothing was damaged.
Crews say it's 100 percent contained.
