I'm from the land of deep dish pizza and blizzards, Chicago! I'm happy to get away from the Windy City and call southwest Florida my new home.
I have three protective, loving older brothers. I'm pretty sure I drove my mother crazy because I was the kid who always asked, "But why?!"
I'm a proud Illini - I graduated from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champlain with a bachelor's degree in broadcast journalism. I earned my master's degree from UC Berkeley's Graduate School of Journalism. Most recently I worked as an assignment editor and writer at KRON 4 News in San Francisco.
When I'm not working, I'm watching a good movie or catching up with friends and family back home.
