NORTH FORT MYERS, Fla. -- Southwest Florida's most famous eagle is doing fine, despite Hurricane Irma tearing down trees around her nest in North Fort Myers.

The nest, made famous by the live eagle cam, is home to Harriett and her mate M15.  It's located just off Bayshore Road, near Dick Pritchett Real Estate.

Strong wind gusts during Irma brought down a few trees nearby, but thankfully the tree holding their nest is okay.

The eagle cam live feed is expected to be back up and running next month with the beginning of nesting season.
