FORT MYERS, Fla. -- Police are investigating after a woman vanished under suspicious circumstances.

A family is pleading for answers after their loved one, 50-year-old Alberta Harris, disappeared. Harris lives on Dupree Street in Fort Myers and was last seen Saturday morning by her husband, Oliver Freeman. "She was everything to me and my kids," said Freeman.

Her bloodied car was found Monday in the parking lot of Fleamasters Flea Market on Martin Luther King Junior Boulevard. The window on the driver's side was broken. "That morning, I last known she was telling me where she was going was to Citi Trends. That was it. After 11 I didn't hear her," said Harris' daughter Ebony Freeman.

The family believe's Harris is still out there and are praying for her safe return. Her daughter has this message: "I want her to know that I love her. I'm not mad, I'm not upset at her. I just want her to come home."

If you know where she could be, you're urged to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-780-TIPS.
