The search continues for the suspect responsible for robbing two Lehigh dollar stores at gun point Saturday night.

No one was hurt in the two robberies but the first store hit was at the Family Dollar at Homestead Road a little after 9 p.m.  The suspect is described as a white or Hispanic male, wearing a camo jacket, black shirt and donning a black plastic mask.

The suspect fled the store headed southbound towards Alabama Road.  While deputies were investigating the robbery, a call for a second robbery nearby came in.  Just before 9:30 p.m., a man fitting the same description as the Family Dollar robber went to the Dollar Tree store, located at 5525 Lee Boulevard, and produced a firearm, and ordered the cashier to hand over the register's cash.  After pocketing the cash, the man left the area in an unknown direction.

The robber from both incidents is 6'0", with a thin build, and is believed to be in his early 20s.

Anyone with information on the identity and whereabouts of the suspect is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-780-TIPS (8477).  All callers will remain anonymous and will be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1,000.  Tips may also be made online at www.swflcrimestoppers.org or by texting a tip to CRIMES (274637) Keyword: REWARD.
