LEE COUNTY, Fla. -- Everybody's favorite eagle cam nest is a full house again, after an injured eaglet finished recovering from a leg injury.

Wildlife crews returned the eaglet known as E8 to the nest of the Southwest Florida Eagle Cam Friday afternoon.

The bird had to be removed earlier this week and was taken to CROW animal hospital in Sanibel to recover from an injured leg.  Doctors say the leg had been tangled in fishing line.

But E8 has recovered well and was reportedly eager and gaining weight at CROW Friday morning before he was returned to the North Fort Myers nest around lunchtime.

He joins his sibling E7 and parents Harriet and M15 in the nest.

Here are some pictures from E8's feeding this morning. The eaglet was very vocal, alert and has an incredible appetite....
