Woman held at knife point, robbed in her own Fort Myers home

FORT MYERS, Fla. -- Authorities are looking for a man they say threatened a woman with a knife in her home and stole a television.

According to Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers, it happened around 4:40 AM Monday in the 5600 block of Eigth Avenue in the Pine Manor community.

The victim says she was walking out of the bathroom when an unknown man grabbed a phone and tablet from her hand, threatened her with a razor knife, and forced her onto the bed.

He reportedly grabbed a 55" television and fled the home.

The suspect is described as a black male, 6’1”, 35 years old, 200 pounds with short black hair and clean shaven.  He was wearing a white t-shirt with a black design at the time of the robbery.
