A precautionary boil water notice has been issued for all of Pine Island, including James City, Bokeelia, and Pine Island Center.
The Pine Island Water Association is asking resident to boil drinking and cooking water for 1 minute prior to consumption or use bottled water.
Clearance of the water notice is expected on Monday or Tuesday afternoon.
