A man is dead after an SUV crashed into a Cape Coral pool.
Police say it happened at a home in a neighborhood near Kismet Parkway and Chiquita Boulevard North.
Officers say the Toyota RAV4 was speeding through nearby fields when it collided with a boat - sending into the air.
The car then collided with the roof of a house, and rolled onto an adjacent screened-in lanai, before landing in a swimming pool.
18-year-old Gavin Clutts, 18-year-old Ryan Whicker, and a minor all suffered life-threatening injuries.
20-year-old Michael Velez died from his injuries.
Investigators say drugs and alcohol were not factors in the crash.
