Since Hurricane Irma roared through Cape Coral, dangling orange and black wires were a constant source of frustration for Elaine Murray.

"It seems like as the days went on it just started to droop even more, and now we're at the point where it's kind of broken and hanging in the yard," said Murray.

She's also worried about the wires posing a safety hazard.

"My husband has a ride out lawn mower, and he comes up in here, I know it doesn't look like we have grass, but usually we do, you can tell it's very stiff and it's a hazard."

Comcast workers have been out the house in the past, but have been unable to solve the problem.

However, hours after 4-in-your-corner called Comcast, workers showed up in the middle of our interview with Elaine.

"He's got a ladder, but I don't think he's going to be able to fix it," Elaine told us.

She was right, workers told her a construction crew would need to come out and finish the job.

"I don't believe that anyone had acknowledged that this is a construction problem up until this moment that you are standing her talking to me" she told the worker.  "It's frustrating."

Comcast told Elaine they would have someone out to fix the wire for good early next week.
