CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. -- A man was found dead in a retention pond off Prineville Street in Port Charlotte on Wednesday.
That's just north of the Walmart store on Veterans Boulevard.
Investigators say the death doesn't appear to be suspicious.
The Charlotte Sheriff's Office says the victim is a middle-aged white male. There is no cause of death, but deputies say the public is not in any danger.
