Missing Fort Myers man found dead, three persons of interest on loose

MANATEE COUNTY, Fla. -- Manatee County Sheriff's Office has confirmed that the body of 38-year-old Ted Lee was found around 1PM on Friday by a church worker at Our Lady of the Angels Catholic Church off State Road 70 in Lakewood Ranch.

The three persons of interest are Jonathon Ruffini, Tyson Hunter, and Lavaya May.  

An acquaintance of one of the persons of interest, Jonathon Ruffini, reached out to Fox 4. The acquaintance says that Ruffini has a past with drugs, and he is a recent graduate of a local Southwest Florida high school.

FORT MYERS, Fla. -- The Lee County Sheriff's office has announced the body of missing Fort Myers man, Ted Lee, has been recovered. Detectives are still looking for the vehicle and the three persons of interest. 

The three persons of interest are Jonathon Ruffini, Tyson Hunter, and Lavaya May.  

Detectives were investigating near Gray Twig Lane in Buckingham Friday.

FORT MYERS, Fla. -- A sheriff's office investigation is under way in the Buckingham area, over what's being called a 'suspicious incident' at this point.

The investigation is at a home in the area of Purslane Drive and Gray Twig Lane.  That's in the neighborhood across from Riverdale High School.

Deputies say the public's safety is not at risk in the area.
