The Guardians of Rescue, a New York-based group, is now in Puerto Rico, focusing on helping animals through the recovery process after Hurricane Maria.

They packed 30 pounds of non-perishable food and packed their own water filtration system.

They plan to be there for 10 days.

4 in Your Corner's Deborah Souverain spoke with group member John Marshall as they went through Southwest Florida International Airport on their way out of Florida Wednesday morning.
