FORT MYERS, Fla. -- Mayor Randy Henderson has declared a local State of Emergency for the City of Fort Myers. Mayor Henderson made the declaration at the start of a City Council meeting tonight.
The state of emergency proclamation activates Fort Myers' emergency plans and allows the city to distribute and activate emergency supplies, equipment, materials, and facilities.
