COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. - The rough waters of Tropical Storm Colin were not enough to keep curiosity seekers from exploring the beaches.
Video captured from earlier Monday shows many people enjoying the water, such as para surfers who were taking advantage of the gusty winds.
"About two hours ago there were 5 or 6 guys doing the surfing, it was really good, you know. You don't see that often here with these waves you don't normally see so that was really cool" said one family visiting the beach during the storm.
And just outside of Marco Island on Goodland Road, some flooding was stopped but no major damage was reported or any other major flooding that caused problems in Naples.
