TALLAHASSEE, Fla. -- Florida State University has announced it will close Tuesday through Friday due to Hurricane Michael.
The Tallahassee and Panama City campuses will shut down at 12:01 a.m. October 9.
The school said on-campus housing and dining service operations will continue throughout the closure.
FSU said it expects to resume classes and normal business operations on Monday, Oct. 15.
Florida A & M and Tallahassee Community College have not yet announced plans.
