Tropical Depression #15 dissipates near the Cabo Verde Islands

Tropical depression 15 is no longer as it dissippates just north of the Cabo Verde Islands. At one point it appeared it would strengthen into a tropical storm, but wind shear and cooler water temperatures prevented this from happening. This will be the last update on what was Tropical depression 15.

Tropical depression 15 has wind just under tropical storm force, but is expected to become Tropical storm Nestor later on today. This storm will be short lived moving into a region with higher wind shear and cooler Atlantic water temperatures

FIRST UPDATE 10/14/19 5PM

Tropical Depression 15 has formed in the far east Atlantic near the Cabo Verde Is. The system is moving NW and will likely become Tropical Storm Nestor soon. There is no eventual threat to the U.S. In fact, the storm will likely dissipate by later this week.
