Bahamas relief drive planned at Miromar Outlets in Estero September 28th and 29th

LEE COUNTY, Fla. -- A Fort Myers-based relief group will be collecting emergency relief supplies this weekend to help those affected by Hurricane Dorian in the Bahamas.

The event will be held Saturday, September 28 & Sunday, September 29 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Miromar Outlets off Corkscrew Road. The event will be located in the northwest parking lot adjacent to Interstate 75.

It's being hosted by Bahamas Relief Aid.

They will be accepting the following supplies:

Construction Materials:
· Plywood/Lumber
· Sheet Rock
· Roofing Materials (Shingles, Tar Paper, etc.)
· Nails
· Plastic Sheeting Rolls/Tarpaulin
· Chain Saws
Cleaning:
· Mops & Buckets
· Towels
· Gloves
· Wet Wipes
· Large Trash Bags
· Bleach
· Chlorine Tablets
· Disinfectant
Groceries:
· Water
· Canned Goods
· Meals Ready To Eat
· Non-Perishable Dry Goods
· Baby Food, Formula & Juice
