LEE COUNTY, Fla. -- We're in your corner, not only tracking brush fires, but the risks currently across the area.
The Florida Forest Service has an online interactive map showing active fires across the state.
It shows one just north of Charlotte County near North Port, and it shows there are 8 active fires in Lee County.
Also, the fire danger map provided by the Florida Forest Service on Monday shows the different levels of risk of fire danger, and every county across the state is at risk for fire danger.

The Florida Highway Patrol has closed US 41 (Tamiami Trail) in Collier Co. between Co. Road 92 (San Marco Road) & State Road 29 due to poor visibility from smoke & the close proximity of a fire. All lanes on Alligator Alley (I75) remain open! Plz drive carefully! pic.twitter.com/1joa6clBpM
