CAPE CORAL, Fla. - The City of Cape Coral has ended the temporary burn ban issued May 3.
Recent rains have decreased the Keetch-Byram Drought Index from extreme levels to moderate levels, the city manager's office said.
Despite this ban being lifted, people are still encourgaed to use extreme caution with recreational cooking and fires.
