FORT MYERS, Fla. — The South Trail Fire Department is on the scene of a fully involved vehicle fire.
Northbound Metro Pkwy is closed before the Colonial Intersection.

The driver of a truck that caught fire also caught praise from firefighters. They say he thought to spray nearby grass and dry brush to prevent the fire from spreading into a nearby wooded area. Northbound Metro Parkway closed before Colonial intersection while crews put out the vehicle fire.
