Maureen Petrosky is an author, television personality, classically trained chef, and food stylist. She is currently an Entertaining & Lifestyle Expert who appears regularly on NBC’s TODAY show and hosts multiple video series on TODAY.com. Author of The Wine Club, A Month-by-Month Guide to Learning About Wine with Friends (2005), The Cocktail Club: A Year of Recipes and Tips for Spirited Tasting Parties (2014), columnist for TODAY.com and thekitchn.com, fans love her accessible and fun approach to quick and easy yet sophisticated recipes, parties, decorating, food and wine pairings, and of course cocktails.
Maureen began her television career behind the scenes at the Food Network in the roles of Executive Chef, Culinary Producer, and Food Stylist on shows including Good Eats, Emeril Live, Cooking Thin, Cooking Live, East Meets West, Hot Off the Grill, Cooking with Wolfgang Puck, and Semi-Homemade with Sandra Leebefore transitioning to work as an on-air talent starting with CNN in 2001.
Maureen has appeared on numerous networks across the country as an on-air Contributing Editor for Better Homes and Gardens and Bon Appétit magazines. She has served as a judge for Food Network’s Iron Chef America and Beat Bobby Flay, is also a judge for the James Beard Book & Broadcast Awards and is a KCBS (Kansas City Barbeque Society) certified Barbeque judge.
Maureen holds a certification from the Master Court of Sommeliers. She is a graduate of Villanova University and The Culinary Institute of America, where she completed a Fellowship at their award- winning American Bounty restaurant.
She currently resides in Bucks County Pennsylvania, with her husband, Michael, and twin boys, Christopher and Elliot.
