In honor of National Volunteer Month, Women of Worth, the signature philanthropic program for L’Oréal Paris, now in its' 13th year, is calling for nominations for their 2018 Women of Worth Program, honoring 10 inspiring women who find beauty in giving back to their communities by championing change through charitable causes. Women of Worth has grown into a year-long platform that elevates the stories of local heroes who represent the passion and spirit of more than 36 million women across the country who volunteer their time to serve others.*
The chosen honorees, selected from thousands of nominations, have the chance to receive up to $35,000 in donations for their cause.
Former honorees Nadya Okamoto and Schinnell Leake, honored for the significant impacts they've made to their communities, join us this morning to discuss their stories and how YOU can get involved to nominate someone you know who has chosen to give back. From now through May 31st, visit WomenofWorth.com to nominate women above the age of 16 who are philanthropists, volunteers and change-makers to be a Woman of Worth.
L’Oréal Paris Women of Worth brings to life the brand’s tenet that “because you're worth it” by recognizing a diverse group of women who are putting forth their passion and vision to selflessly volunteer and create lasting impact in their communities. L'Oréal Paris has honored 120 women, advocating for women and children, raising awareness for health issues, supporting troops and their families, bringing technology to underserved communities and many other important initiatives.
