NAPLES, Fla.-- Restaurants across Southwest Florida are getting ready for the 10th Annual Stone Crab Festival next weekend.
Kevin Rooney with Phelan Brands said stone crabs were added to their restaurants' menus as soon as the season opened.
"It's a delicacy and you can only catch stone crabs in Gulf waters," said Rooney. "We're fortunate to have our own boats and a great partnership to be able to catch these and serve them everyday."
The event is known as a Naples tradition and includes delicious seafood, live entertainment, craft vendors and more.
The festival is from Oct. 25 to Oct. 27 and is located at the corner of Tamiami Trail and Goodlette Rd.
