CAPE CORAL, Fla. — Next weekend is the second annual Pride Cape Coral celebration in Southwest Florida.
The event celebrates the local LGBTQ community and organizers want everyone to take part in it.
Event coordinator, AJ Ford, and this year's Miss Cape Coral Pride, Alyssa Lemay, joined Fox 4 in the studio, Friday morning.
The two-day celebration takes place on Mar. 7-8 at SE 47th Terrace, between SE 9th Place and SE 11th Place.
Organizers say highlights this year are Pride Parade, Tutu Drag Race, Sunday Drag Brunch, live music, food, and games.
Special guests from RuPaul's Drag Race, Netflix's The Circle, and The Voice are also scheduled to attend.
