FORT MYERS, Fla. -- Gulf Coast Humane Society' s Fall Festival featuring "Pumpkins for Paws" was a big hit this weekend.
Vendors came out to talk about pet care, therapy dogs, and pet food. There was also a vegan bake sale and garage sale for bargain shoppers.
The event on Arcadia Street was sponsored by Ultimate Air Dogs.
There was also a pumpkin patch on site for photo opportunities with the shelter's furry ambassadors.
"This event brings awareness. It helps us with adoptable dogs, helps raise money, but really it's about saying thank you to our friends in the community," said Jennifer Galloway.
There were also area rescued pets available for those who wanted to adopt.
