FORT MYERS, Fla. – There was perfect weather Sunday the 11th Annual Fort Myers Rotary Italian Fest.
It happened at Alliance for the Arts. Outdoor events included raffles and games, and of course plenty of food and drink from local Italian restaurants.
There was also entertainment ranging from high school marching bands to actors from Broadway Palm Theatre and Austin Giorgio, who was a finalist on the TV show The Voice last year.
The people we talked to said they had a great time. "My first time coming to this event; having a really good time. Food’s been great, kids are having a great time with the umbrellas, painting them. It's been a really good experience," said Mike Silverman.
This year’s event benefits the Rotary Club of Fort Myers Trust and Goodwill Industries of Southwest Florida.
