NAPLES, Fla. — The Naples City Council approved the removal of the beach parking restrictions along the beach ends and beach parking lots.

Friday parking will be allowed with a beach parking permit issued by the City of Naples or Collier County or with metered parking payment.

The parking restrictions along the avenues within three blocks of the beach remain in effect; NO PARKING signage will remain.

The increased parking fines ($200) remain in effect for violators, as well as illegally parked vehicles will be towed.

Fishing at the Naples Pier will be permitted effective immediately.

Also, the expiration of any temporary use permits for outdoor dining or sidewalk sales has been extended to coincide with the duration of the Governor’s Executive Order.

The City says Individuals are expected to follow the Governor’s Executive Orders and CDC guidance regarding social distancing (six feet apart from non-family members).
