LEHIGH ACRES, Fla -- The School District of Lee County Superintendent Dr. Greg Adkins was at the Lee County bus compound in Lehigh Acres Monday to greet bus drivers ahead of the first day of school.

Monday marked the first time students in Lee, Charlotte, Collier and Hendry Counties have been allowed to resume in-person learning since the COVID-19 pandemic.
