PUNTA GORDA, Fla. — The Military Heritage Museum’s annual Military Career Day is taking place on April 24, from noon to 4 p.m. Recruiters have been invited from the U.S. Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps and Coast Guard. All interested middle and high school students and their parents or guardians are welcome to attend.

General Mark Milley, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, is known for saying that “while the military may not be for everyone, the chance to explore the opportunities is something each student should have available to them.”

Choosing a military career requires careful consideration and planning. The Military Heritage Museum, located at 900 West Marion Avenue, has organized military career day to help students, parents and guardians learn more about the benefits and the many opportunities that a military career can offer. Careers can be found in a variety of fields including cyber-security and information technology, health science, hospitality, public safety, combat readiness, and marketing just to name a few.

Recruiters will be available and reservations are encouraged through this link: https://freedomisntfree.doubleknot.com/event/military-careers-day-/2801233.

There is no cost to attend. Every student will receive a one-day admission pass to enjoy the various exhibits, galleries, and activity areas throughout the museum.
