FORT MYERS, Fla. — Local restaurants have made some tough decisions throughout the pandemic, so when it came to making plans for Super Bowl Sunday, Stillwater Grille says they're putting safety first.

This year, the Fort Myers restaurant is making their Super Bowl menu only to-go for fans celebrating at home.

"There's probably going to be quite a few people that are choosing to stay home due to the pandemic, so that's why we wanted to get a little bit creative," said Julie Meyer, owner. "We can do the cooking for them so they can just sit back, relax, and enjoy the game safely at home."

After a difficult 2020, like most business owners in Southwest Florida, Meyers says she's hoping the Super Bowl leads people back to supporting local restaurants.
