CAPE CORAL, Fla. — Florida Yoga Academy is offering a safe way to help fear and anxiety during the coronavirus crisis.

They're starting back their beach yoga every Friday at Cape Coral's Yacht Club beach on Driftwood Parkway.

Anyone wanting to participate has to sign up through the Florida Yoga Academy. The class only allows a limited number of people to assure safety and social distance.

“It’s very helpful to reduce the fear and to help people get back to their normal life. If somebody has no energy, it can increase your energy. Every person is different so it basically helps to balance your body and energy to become the best version of yourself," said Inga Balciuniene, instructor and owner of Florida Yoga Academy.

Inga also teaches different yoga practices to help boost the immune system.

Several organizations and studies have recommended the practice of yoga to help during the pandemic.
