LEE COUNTY, Fla. -- The Lee County school district donated more than 1,500 toys, which will be given to 500 children this holiday season.
The donations came from students, teachers, and staff. The gifts will be transported to the Salvation Army for the Angel Tree Program this week. This is the largest donation for an Angel Tree host in Lee County.
The gifts will be distributed to families over the weekend, and each child will receive a full set of clothing and four toys.
