ENGLEWOOD, Fla. -- A 64 year old woman was hit and killed by a car in the parking lot of an Englewood apartment complex Tuesday.
According to Florida Highway Patrol, 85-year-old Jose Espineira was driving in the parking lot of the Lemon Bay Breeze Condos just after noon Tuesday when he turned around the corner of a building and hit 64-year-old Linda Zoellner with the front of his car.
Zoellner was transported to Englewood Community Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
No charges have been filed at this time.
