LEE COUNTY, Fla. -- Witnesses in a Lehigh Acres neighborhood say an overnight shooting sent one person to the hospital.
A witness says it happened around 11pm Wednesday in the 5000 block of Beck Court, which is near Centennial Boulevard.
Lee County deputies were on scene for a while, investigating. But right now, we have no official word from them. However a witness says he is best friends with the victim, and said someone tried to get into a home and ended up shooting at it.
The witness says someone was hit in the head with a bullet and was taken to Lee Memorial Hospital. No word on a possible condition.
