LEE COUNTY, Fla. -- Wawa, the cult-favorite convenience-store and gas station, could be headed to the Village of Estero.
KRG Estero has reportedly asked Estero's design review board to sign off on a future location on the southeast corner of Three Oaks Parkway and Corkscrew Road. This is in the Estero Town Commons.
The board is expected to discuss the proposal during its next meeting on Tuesday.
Wawa, which is based in Pennsylvania, expanded into Southwest Florida in 2014. Several stores are now in business in Fort Myers and Cape Coral.
